We're going around the world..

I think virtually everyone who reads this blog knows this already, but just in case.. Elizabeth and I are going on an around-the-world trip for two months in November and December.. Here's our route:

Nothing to report..

.. 13 days to go, and then we get on a plane. Virtually nothing going on except work, so nothing particularly interesting to talk about here.

Oh yeah, new pictures. Two things to note here:

1) Yes, there are lot of pictures of the hawks. For the record, I took at least 50, because they were hanging out on the ground and letting me get really close, then flying around very low, then plopping right back down on the ground in front of me.

2) The schoolgirls saw my camera from the distance and posed. After I shot it, they ran up and snatched away my camera to look at the photo. Then they posed again. This cycle repeated itself until finally I realized they wouldn't get bored and literally walked through the little mob to get away. Amy and Parker saw this from some distance away and feared for my safety, but managed to remain calm.
